We train the champions who make champions

2017 is your year.

Make your New Year’s resolution count, and take up a challenge that will improve your life, and the lives of others as well.

If you’re looking for a substantial career where you’re not bound to a desk all day long, Wintec offers qualifications in sport science, fitness, outdoor recreation and adventure, massage, rehabilitation and clinical exercise physiology.

This is more than just sport. Our graduates are taking on the world and succeeding in a wide range of careers from, outdoor recreation guides and instructors, personal trainers (REPS credited), elite athletic sports coaches, sport development researchers, well-being and sports nutritionists, rehabilitation trainers, sports consultants, sport scientists, clinical physiologists, rehabilitation therapists, to business owners and more.

Whether you are driven to help others to achieve their goals or you are an elite athlete who wants the knowledge to reach your greatest potential in competitive sport, we can provide you with a qualification that is both recognised and respected worldwide.

Now is the time to turn your passion for sport, fitness, wellbeing and performance into a career that you’ll love.

The world of sport and fitness is changing and so we are stepping it up a notch.

With the launch of the new Waikato Human Performance Hub (WHPH) in February our students will now have the opportunity to pathway into paid work while they study. The WHPH is a first of its kind in the Waikato, and offers the general public access to the same state-of-the-art sport testing and consulting services as used by national and international athletes.

These personalised services allow the public to reach their training goals faster, while our students gain hands-on experience in leading techniques and technology, by working alongside and assisting our industry experts.

With perseverance, self-drive and the right qualification anything is possible.

It’s not too late to enrol now to start in February at wintec.ac.nz
